OS X Snow Leopard Secure Delete Doesn’t Work With SSDs

OS X's secure delete, which overwrites data multiple times so the data can't be recovered, does not work with SSDs.

Why? Because SSD write algorithms are different, because the physical media is different, but also to preserve its lifespan.

The end result though is 2/3 of a file can be recoverable.
